Vampires and Love-relationship stories

Journal Entry: Fri Nov 20, 2009, 4:37 PM
Vampires are suppose to be scary-looking creatures. They're vicious creatures that creep out in the night and suck your blood. But they have plenty of weaknesses whether it's sunlight, wooden stake, silver, the holy cross, etc.

They're more vicious than zombies because they actually have a brain, so they plan and trick their prey. Why have they gotten more attractive now?

I always though the point of developing stories for vampires is study their concept and think of what can you do with them. That's why I used to be scared of them. But everyone is so into teenager talk and love-relationships, it can ruin the concept.

Total Drama Island/Action/Musical is only popular because it has fake love-relationships girl fans can fantasize about. And now Twilight is popular because it's the vampire fanfiction of love every girl can dream about.

I hated Twilight because I wasn't at least surprised or shock from the action of those pathetic excuses for vampires. Why couldn't Edward be more vicious and hideous-looking and actually be harmfully affected by the sunlight?

Changing the concept of vampires is not creative at all. Adding more into the concept is possible as long as it makes sense like the weakness of silver. Can anyone explain how silver became their weakness. I still don't understand.

And why the hell is that bad for Bella to be a vampire? She can sparkle in the sun! Where's the disadvantage???? She'll be studied by scientists and Star Trek nerds?!?!?!?

Vampires are monsters, who gave anyone the right to make them sophisticated-looking? At least Blade was badass-looking and the guys from 30 Days of Night were creepy-looking. Looked like aliens to be honest but they were still scary and I liked it.

When I was reading the book about the love-relationship between Bella and Edward, I was not convinced at all. When I watch the love-relationships on Total Dram Island, Stoked, and 6Teen, I wanted to gouge my eyes out from watching this baloney.

It's like the creators of the shows have no idea how to interact with other people, nor have they observed the interaction of two people. They just watch the love movies they like and steal that for their own.

I don't mind love relationships but make it believable and different.

This is a fact: Cartoons, movies, and any stories are inspired by real life. That what's made them believable back then. Cartoons were inspired by real life but they were twisted to be funny enough for the audience, so they could relate and yet laugh about it.

Remember, a story is suppose to reflect who you are. A real life couple relationship you observed or experienced in high school is a way better story than a love relationship you saw on TV. You actually saw their interaction so you have more information. The one you saw on television may be great but if you just use that, it's just not creative.

Is anyone getting what I'm saying?

Well on the upside, I convinced my brother to stop watching Total Drama Action, which was unhealthy for his eyes anyway, and managed to get him into Mighty B, Looney Tunes, Flapjack, and Malcolm in the Middle.

I feel like a great person!!!!! 8D

And please don't ask me to watch Twilight 2, because then I'll have to read the book before I can tell the fans straight to their face that the stories are a bunch of vomit.

And there I go with my bitching again. I think I'll watch some Malcolm to cheer me up.
