I'll be announcing this on Tumblr soon, but would anyone be interested in paying me $10 per character sketch?

I'm thinking on starting that old popular project called the "100 Ten Dollar Sketches". I just want to state this now before I actually plan on making this real. This won't be happening right now. I have some old gifts to finish and I was to complete it as soon as possible.

Plus I'm not sure how many would be interested or how many have the money. I've announced commissions before and they've never taken off. It's just a thought but if I hear good responses, then this plan might happen.

Alright I'm off to finish one more class before my break. I'm looking forward to this Saturday. I was asked to submit my artwork to an upcoming art show at my university. Two of my professors from my Animation classes have chosen me as one of their best students to present what I worked on, as part of a Student Show.

Last year when I was 20, my professor John McIntyre who taught Animation 1 in my university presented my work to the Student Show, which led me to winning an Animation Faculty Award. I wasn't there however because I knew nothing about it so I didn't receive my award until January. But this year my other Animation professor Trujillo is trying to invite everyone and make this a bigger event. I doubt many will show up but this will be a chance for me to introduce my folks to my professors since they have helped me so much this semester.

And I might go to a meeting with my uncle for a project I might be working on which involves me illustrating for a children's book. I don't want to raise my hopes for this too much but I'm looking forward to making new connections nonetheless.

I really enjoy meeting new people, even if they have different careers or interests. As much as I enjoy taking about animation, it's also fun to discuss other topics. They don't even have to be debatable, intelligent, or sophisticated. It just allows me to learn different things and it broadens my mind.

I enjoy socializing, but I didn't before because I would only have conversations with people who have the exact same interests as me. I hated that because it made me felt close-minded. Now I do great in socializing in groups but it can get awkward when it's between two people, because if neither of you can think of a topic then it's complete silence. In a group it's easier to act stupid and laugh about it. Unless I'm with really good friends, it can get a bit challenging to stir up a conversation and make it last as long as possible.

But what about you guys? How do you handle in social situations? And I mean outside the internet.

But moving on I'm very excited for next week as well. I might start an internship but I'll explain more later~ ;D

So that everyone is updated, I have to go now.

Study hard! Or have a great summer break!~

Yes, pen pressure. Again it depends how thick or how thin you want your lines to be. It always varies.

How do you get you lines to be sooo clean?
I have a hard time drawing photoshop and worry too much that my lines will come real sloppy...

I have such a difficult time inking with Photoshop, but I think that can be arranged with some minor changes in the brush settings.

For inking I mostly use Paint Tool Sai.
